PRANCING PAWS ANIMAL RESCUE is a registered 501(c)(3) not for profit, no kill, cat and kitten rescue dedicated to ending the cat overpopulation crisis that plagues the South Philadelphia area. We are attempting to accomplish this goal humanely by practicing Trap-Neuter-Release on the feral cats of South Philadelphia. In order to operate our rescue we depend solely on donations from the public, which are tax deductible.

Prancing Paws is made up a group of individuals who see an immediate need to rescue stray animals off the streets of South Philadelphia. We volunteer our time and open our homes to help save these homeless cats and dogs.

Each cat and dog is fully vetted before it leaves the rescue into an adoptive home. For cats this includes the spay/neuter surgery, FIV/FelV test, vaccinations, and treatment for fleas and worms. For dogs this includes spay/neuter surgery, vaccinaations, micro-chip, and treatment for fleas and worms. The adoption for a cat is $100. The adoption for a dog is $190. All adoptions are finialized by a contract.
